Developing financial capability in children and Young people

WA partnership has worked with Young Money (formerly pfeg)  over a number of years to support a range of projects designed to provide teachers with the skills and confidence to teach personal finance education. . The independent charity, are recent winners of the Education and Training category and the The Charity Awards 2010 and Charity Times Award winners 2012 for best project partnership with a corporate partner.  Their website is the first port of call for the free support, resources and expert consultancy it offers to teachers, school leadership teams and local authorities helping to ensure that all children from 4-19 are educated in money matters, and for its work with government, opinion formers and key bodies to influence education policy.
WA have provided project management services to Young Money (formerly pfeg) to support their 5 year What Money Means project in partnership with HSBC in the Community. For more information about What Money Means go to: What money means for primary schools
